If you do not agree with this policy, please do not enter or do not use our Services or otherwise interact with any other aspect of our activity.

In this policy, when referring to “Safilin” or “we” we intend that Safilin is the only entity to keep and control the information Safilin collects while you are using its tools and services. Safilin offers flax yarn information, products and services. In this policy, all these products, as well as our other services and our website, are referred to as the “Services”.

We collect your personal data you when you provide them via the Services or directly.

Information on the account and on the profile: we collect your personal data when you register or make a purchase via the Services. For example, when subscribing to Services, you provide your contact details and, in some cases, invoice data. We retain information about your preferences when you download the files that are made available through our Services.

If you have subscribed and wish to unsubscribe, you will find this option in the message or in your account parameters.

To commercialise, promote and stimulate your involvement with the Services: We use your contact details and information on the way you use the Services in order to send you messages that could interest you, including via electronic post. These messages aim at stimulating your involvement and maximise your benefits from the Services, including information on new product ranges, invitations to surveys, newsletters and events that might interest you. If you express your consent, we share your data with a Safilin expert to answer the requests for assistance. Please note that Safilin experts are employees of Safilin or directly affiliated with Safilin.

To protect our legitimate business interest and our legal rights: If required by the applicable law or if we consider it is necessary to protect our legal rights and interests or third-party interests, we use your data in connection with legal and conformity claims, audits, as well as information on acquisition, fusion or sale of an enterprise.

Upon your consent: We use your data if you have given us your consent to do so for a specific purpose not mentioned above. For example, upon your consent we can publish photos/videos/audio recordings, featured customer testimonials or stories to promote the Services. Otherwise, your anonymity will be respected and the photos or videos used will be of purely technical character, prepared with your written or oral consent during the shooting and respecting the anonymity of the persons that may appear on them.

External widgets: Some of our Services contain widgets and social media functionalities, such as the Facebook Like button. Although we apply measures developed to secure your information, no security system is impenetrable and, due to the inherent nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that the data transferred via the Internet or stored in our systems or being under our control are completely sheltered against intrusion of others.
