What is your job?
My job consists in loading the appropriate portions of flax fibre into the machine. It is the first stage of fibre transformation into yarn. This job requires a lot of attention and perspicacity.
I am responsible for my machine, I control it all the time in order to avoid breakdown. It is manual work requiring good know-how.
What are the most important aspects of your job on which you would never compromise?
In my job, the most important is concentration and the right moves. You need to assess, with the naked eye, the portion of fibre that needs to be loaded into the machine. When I train a new employee, this is the part I spend the most time on. As it is mechanical work, you need to know your machine perfectly well to identify the problems and quickly resolve them.
What are the qualities required at your job?
I think that the most important qualities are perspicacity, precision and teamwork skills.
Why have you chosen SAFILIN ?
It is one of the largest factories in Szczytno, it is located close to my home and I do not like commuting to a different city. I work 8 hours a day, as per the contract that I signed, and the salary is paid on time. It is important for me to work for a company that respects the labour code.
